Mr. Clever Fox Wants to Help You Get an Electric Car!

Are you curious about electric vehicles (EVs) and wondering if now’s the time to get one yourself? Whether you’re excited, skeptical, or just want to learn more, I am here to help.

Right now is an excellent time to join the EV movement: more and more manufacturers have jumped into the game, public infrastructure is rapidly expanding, and there are now many different models with desirable range, features, and price tag. And on top of the financial and environmental benefits, electric cars are just a pleasure to drive!

I’m offering my services as an Electric Vehicle Consultant. I am available for consultation over email or phone. My goal is to answer all of your questions about EVs and take a look at what makes sense for your personal situation. Topics we can discuss include:

Learning how EVs work – From discussing what it’s like to drive an EV to geeking out about the technology, I can answer your questions.

Understanding charging – Keeping your EV powered up takes less effort than visiting the gas station once you know how to go about it. Let’s talk through home charging, public charging, and fast charging.

Dispelling myths – Think an electric car is too expensive? Worried about so-called ‘range anxiety’? I’ve yet to meet an EV owner who regrets making the switch, and I can help you unpack your concerns and provide answers.

Picking the right model – Based on your driving needs, budget, and available incentives.

Finding incentives – From federal tax credits to local rebates, most buyers have a range of incentives to help make transitioning to an EV even gentler on your wallet.

Doing the math – I can help you look at the cost of ownership (that’s fuel, repairs, depreciation, and more) of the car you have now vs. an electric vehicle. We can run the numbers, considering your current car payment and available deals and incentives. Chances are, you’ll save money by making the switch!

Getting a good deal – Nervous about dealing with dealers? I can help you get a fair price for your EV and for your trade-in, as well as make sure your EV comes with the right features.

Making the transition – While owning an EV is a delight, the first week or two can take some getting used to and present some early challenges, like what to do while you’re waiting for your home charger to be set up. I can help you find an electrician and make a game plan to avoid a week-one headache.

Contact Me – Let’s Get Started

You can contact me at thefox@mrcleverfox.com, send me a message on my Facebook page, or call/text me at 512-910-5974.

I charge $50 for a half-hour session to talk through the topics above. I’m also happy to answer a quick question or two ‘on the house’.

Why work with an EV consultant?

Many car dealers are under-informed about their EV models and more interested in making a sale than giving you the right information. There’s also more to making the switch than just buying the car. I’m here to educate you and walk you through the transition to becoming an electric vehicle owner without any pressure or hidden agenda.

What do I drive?

I personally drive a 2020 Chevrolet Bolt, which I acquired last October. I have an article on my money-saving blog telling the story and breaking down the math behind giving up my perfectly-good gas car to move into the EV world. In addition to the cost savings, it’s also been a real delight to own a car that’s both a technological marvel and great for the environment. The Bolt is a great example of a fully functional, long-range EV at an affordable price.

Note that incentives change frequently, and whether to buy new, used, or lease will depend on your situation and the deals available at the time.
